Thesis

The relationship between a graphic designer and their desk is complex and diverse. For generations the desk has played a very important role in a graphic designer's career. At times, the desk and its organization - cluttered versus tidy - are direct reflections of work methodology and style of design. This project is an exploration of
the graphic designer's desk and its organization. It analyzes in what ways their workspace is used in order to be both most creative and productive.

Thesis Poster

This poster visualized a small excerpt within my senior thesis where I touched upon how one's workspace can affect idea generation and flow. The poster explores the stages of an idea from generation (or conception) to rejection and sometimes rejuvenation. The use of the piece of paper comes from the habit of throwing away a page that holds an unwanted idea. The progression of the paper shows that although an idea may seem bad at first, if you continue to think about it, it may lead you to something new. All of this happen when sitting at your desk, of course.

Fidelity

When studying in England, I was assigned a two-person project that entailed branding an intangible object. We
were given the word "fidelity." We tried to imagine what fidelity would look like, feel like. We came to the conclusion that it would posses strength while still being classy. After designing the logo we were to give it
a product that it could represent and then package it. We decided on a company that would manufacture condoms. These condoms would be targetted to couples who are looking to be in a serious relationship. Fi represents strength, loyalty and security in both a condom and a relationship.
This project was done in collaboration with Chris Carbo.

The images and type are arranged to resemble a quilt.

This poster was used to promote Love Your Library week at FIT. The idea was is to marry the history of FIT with the modern day. The young girl is studious but still looking to have a good time. This piece came in first place in the Love Your Library poster contest.

YouTube Redesign

This is a redesign of youTube's logo and multiple pages of the website. The intention was to make youTube more organized and more attractive. Things would become more accesible as well as more customizable. The user would have the option to show and hide many of the youTube features in order to watch videos without distraction.
This project was done in collaboration with Chris Carbo and David Balsamello.

RAW: Junior Exhibition

RAW was the Junior Graphic Design Department's exhibition in 2010. This project was done in collaboration with David Balsamello and Nicole Pagliaro.

Untitled Typeface

This is an untitled typeface that I designed and drew. I used the concept of a diary of a young girl growing
into an old woman as a way to exhibit the typeface. This type specimen book was done completely by hang in the form of a collage.
